St. Raymund’s adopts styro-free policy
By MARIA NIKKA P. POLICARPIO
FROM now on, the Faculty of Arts and Letters (Artlets) will say “no to styrofoam.”

Dubbed as “Enforced Discipline: Styrofree AB”, the campaign initiated by the Arts and Letters Student Council (ABSC) in collaboration with the College of Commerce and Business Administration Student Council (CBASC) bans the use of styrofoam food containers inside the St. Raymund de Peńafort building and encourages students to use environment friendly materials to “instigate change” in the Faculty.

The campaign originated from the “Styro-free University” project of the Office for Student Affairs (OSA).

The two councils work hand-in-hand in implementing the campaign, but both give separate policies to their respective constituents.

“A memo will be released for administrators, faculty members, and class presidents to inform and to oblige them in disseminating information to other members of the Faculty to strictly follow the campaign,” ABSC external vice-president Rhodel
Sazon said.
